"County singer Hank Williams Jr. was featured Monday as the opening act for Palin.

But Before Williams took the stage erected on the Capitol steps, parody songwriter and Republican congressional candidate Jeff Parnell warmed up the crowd by putting his own twist on Obama's campaign theme."As sure as your momma was Mrs. Obama, we don't need you're kind of change," Parnell sang while strumming his guitar."

postheadericon Two Vye for 4th District Congressional Seat

The battle for the 4th district has been mentioned yet again, this time in the Examiner. They even acknowledge how long Mr. Skelton has been in office. Isn't 30 years long enough?

"Two candidates are vying for the opportunity to serve the people of the 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, and one candidate has served for more than 30 years. Incumbent Rep. Ike Skelton, D-Lexington, will face Republican Jeff Parnell Nov. 4. Skelton has represented the 4th District of Missouri since 1977."

postheadericon It Seems There Are Skeletons in Mr. Skelton's Closet...

There is more to Mr. Skelton than what you see in his TV advertisements. When was the last time you saw your representative visit the district, let alone visit your own home area, at least up until he had a strong challenger to his position? There is more to his representation of you than you probably know.
